JB-Tag crosses the border to Kleoland in Germany
Kleoland is an indoor playground located in Kleve, just across the border from Nijmegen. Right in the centre of the hall is the big eye-catcher – an impressive climbing and play structure. A month ago, we installed our JB-Tag system here, and it’s been a big hit. According to Sonja, the Dutch manager, the light sensors instantly catch visitors’ attention. She gave us a warm welcome and was excited to share her positive experiences with JB-Tag.
Enthusiastic kids, happy parents
Sonja says the promotional materials are almost unnecessary. Visitors see the interactive spots and the dashboard in the play area and immediately get curious. “It’s basically a form of cardio,” Sonja says with a grin. “The kids keep running to the screen to check their scores – they’re really into it!” Parents are happy too, because their kids are staying active. Sonja enthusiastically shares that most visitors ask about the game right away and want to play immediately. “Once one kid starts, the others want in too. You know how it is,” she laughs.

Unique play experience
With the Tag Solutions Portal, we give our customers the ability to manage their own settings. They can:
- Upload their logo into the play system
-Add the prize to be won
- Set how many points are needed to win
- Choose the maximum playtime
- Configure light colours and point values
- Adjust light effects
- Select sound effects
This makes the system truly customisable to each customer’s preferences. For Sonja, that’s a big plus: “It’s really nice to be able to personalise different elements. We’ve uploaded our own logo and set the language to German. Our next step is to add animal sounds to make the experience even more fun!”
No investment costs
Another big plus, according to Sonja, is the investment cost – or rather, the fact that there isn’t one. There are no upfront costs. Children purchase a TAG wristband alongside their entry ticket for a suggested price of €3. Part of this goes to us, and part to the operator. This instantly generates more revenue and profit.
“It’s awesome that the play system is provided entirely free of charge and that we can rely on online support. At one point, the light sensors failed due to too much tension. Ruben from JB Tag Solutions came by the very next day to fix it. Everything has worked perfectly since,” Sonja shares happily.
