Interactive play with JB-Tag at Airworld in Belgium

In 2024, we visited Airworld, the large indoor amusement park in Bornem, where Dieter gave us a warm welcome. After discovering our interactive JB-Tag solutions at a trade show in the Netherlands, he was eager to try this innovation in his park!

Making the leap to JB-Tag

Dieter wanted to give his park a fresh boost with an interactive experience, aimed at kids about 8 or 9 years old. His search led him to the IAAPA Expo at the RAI in Amsterdam, where he immediately liked the JB-Tag solutions. JB was already familiar to Airworld. “We knew JB Inflatables from their bounce houses,” Dieter explains. “But when I heard about this interactive game with a small investment, honestly, I thought: there must be a catch somewhere. But nothing could have been further from the truth!” His curiosity took him to Bounce Valley in the Netherlands, where JB-Tag was already in use. “There I saw how excited the kids were. It was incredible to watch how eagerly they played. That gave me the confidence to take the leap.”

From trade show to installation

The IAAPA Expo trade show was held at the end of September, and less than a month later, just before the fall break, the JB Tag Solutions team was ready at Airworld. Everything was installed in a day. “The team arrived at 8:00 a.m., and by 2:00 p.m., the system was fully up and running. Everything went incredibly smoothly!”

Thanks to the clear instructions and user-friendly setup, the team understood the game right away. “The JB Tag portal is also very intuitive, so now we can set up and customize everything ourselves. The handover went perfectly!” Dieter says enthusiastically.

Everything sorted with one phone call

The service from JB Tag Solutions is a real advantage for Dieter. “With one phone call, everything gets sorted quickly,” he says happily. Still, the play system presents a small challenge. At Airworld, kids always wear a wristband to enter the inflatable area. “That sometimes causes confusion,” Dieter explains. “They think this wristband controls the interactive lights, but that’s a different band.” He’s now looking into a simple way to explain this to visitors.

“Well, in Belgium, we tend to be a bit more cautious,” Dieter laughs. “We want to see if it really works well first. But once a few kids start playing enthusiastically, you quickly see the rest join in.” The interactive system definitely catches attention, and Dieter wants to promote it more actively to make Airworld an even bigger attraction.
