In 2024, Monkey Town Apeldoorn introduced the JBTag gaming system. Curious about the reactions, we decided to visit and experience the atmosphere ourselves. Surrounded by enthusiastic children, Anouk, one of the team members, shared her experiences with our interactive gaming system.
Anouk showed us how they promote the JB-Tag game at Monkey Town Apeldoorn. She pointed to the stack of colorful flyers ready to be handed out and showed the large poster displayed on the window.
“But that’s actually not even our main promotion,” she explains. “The light from the interactive lamps immediately catches attention, and the wristbands are clearly visible at the checkout. Kids and parents often ask what the game is about, and once we explain, they get excited right away.” The interactive game naturally attracts attention and sparks visitors’ curiosity.

Anouk told us that at first they occasionally had an iPad that shut down in the morning. “That was a bit tricky sometimes,” she admitted. Meanwhile, that issue is solved with a brand-new iPad, and since then everything runs smoothly.
The game is also very simple for the staff to use. “It’s really straightforward,” she said happily. “The only busy spot is the line at the slush puppy,” she laughed, referring to the game’s popularity and its prize.
