In 2024, Monkey Town Apeldoorn launched the JBTag game system. Curious about the feedback, we decided to visit and experience the atmosphere ourselves. Surrounded by enthusiastic children, Anouk, one of the staff members, shared her experiences with our interactive game system.

Anouk showed us how they promote the JB-Tag game at Monkey Town Apeldoorn. She pointed to the stack of colorful flyers ready to be handed out and showed us the large poster displayed in the window.
“But actually, that’s not even our main promotion,” she explains. “The light from the interactive lamps immediately draws attention, and the wristbands are clearly visible at the checkout. This often leads children and parents to ask what the game is about, and once we explain, they’re instantly excited.” The interactive game naturally captures attention and sparks curiosity among visitors.
Anouk told us that at first they occasionally had an iPad that would shut down in the morning. “That was a bit tricky sometimes,” she admitted. Since then, that issue was resolved with a brand-new iPad, and everything has been running smoothly.
The game is also very easy for staff to use. “It basically speaks for itself,” she said contentedly. “The only thing we’re still busy with is managing the queue for the slush puppy,” she laughed, referring to the game’s popularity and its accompanying reward.
