Carefree Play with JB-Tag at Monkey Town Waalwijk

In the summer of 2024, we had the pleasure of installing our JB-Tag game system at Monkey Town in Waalwijk. Naturally, we were curious about the feedback, so we decided to visit and experience the atmosphere ourselves. Among the playing children, Raymond, one of the staff members, enthusiastically shared his experiences with our interactive game system.

Teamwork with JB-Tag

Raymond told us enthusiastically about the success of the JB-Tag game system: “The kids love it. Once they have a play band on, it’s game on!” He continued: “The great thing is that it’s not just about speed, but also about playing smart. You can see some kids really thinking about which lights to tag to score the most points. Some go all out to win the competition, but even better, you see them working together. They give each other tips, help one another, and celebrate together when they reach their goal.”

It creates a fantastic, lively atmosphere in the play area. The energy is contagious – not only do you see the kids enjoying themselves, but also the proud parents watching on.

"The interactive lights are firmly secured with strong straps that stay in place no matter how excited the kids get."

Carefree Play

The entire JB-Tag game system was installed within a day, and the staff quickly got the hang of it – everything is intuitive. “I was initially a bit worried about the interactive lights that needed to be installed in the climbing frame,” Raymond admitted, “but those concerns turned out to be unnecessary. The lights are securely attached with strong straps that stay in place no matter how enthusiastically the kids play.” The system is fully designed with safety in mind, so there’s no risk of the lights coming loose.

Thanks to this careful installation, the game is suitable for kids of all ages. “We mostly see children between 6 and 12 years old playing, and they can easily reach all the spots in the climbing frame,” Raymond added.

Customization via JB-Tag Station

At the JB-Tag station, kids can log in by entering their play name and choosing an avatar. Once that’s done, the adventure begins. Each light has a different color, representing different point values, which can be easily adjusted through the portal.

Raymond gave us a glimpse of his next plans: “So far, we’ve used the standard settings, and they work perfectly. But now I want to explore how we can personalize the experience even more – maybe by adding an extra prize or changing the point values.”
